The park includes a children’s playground, a beautiful gazebo, and a Veteran’s Memorial consisting of a wall with over 3,000 names of Moniteau County veterans who have served or are currently serving in the United States military along with various statues. The plaque shown here is the center piece of the memorial wall. During the dedication program, the white table will be set up as a symbol of the sacrifice of our veterans. Participating will be the Burger family, the Bolinger family, the Whiteman AFB Color Guard, members of the VFW and the American Legion, the Masonic Lodge, the California Heroes Outreach Program, the California Community Band, the California Choir, and  members of the Moniteau County 4-H.

Ribbons for Gold Star Mothers, Blue Star Mothers, active/reserve military and veterans will be available.  Parking will be permitted in church parking lots and along available streets.
