Tom's official military career spanned a total of 10 years; all of which were in an Enlisted capacity as a Computer Systems Operator (i.e. AFSC 491x1 converted mid-career to 3C0x1).  His first six (6) years were on Active Duty in the U.S. Air Force, which were immediately followed by three (3) years as a Fulltime Technician in the Colorado Air National Guard with his final year as a Traditional Guardsman (aka "Weekend Warrior") for the Colorado Air National Guard.

 

Tom still serves us today as the Quartermaster of VFW Post 4345 and also supports several military/veteran organizations/events in and around California, MO.
